Shows a breadcrumb trail at the top of a page, for example Chinese Food Map › Sichuan Food › Sichuan Cuisine. It is rendered by Module:Breadcrumb.

Usage

{{Breadcrumb|parent=Sichuan Food}}

• parent (or the first unnamed parameter): the page directly above this one, for example the province hub for a dish or city page. Leave it empty on a province hub; the trail then starts at the root.
• label (optional): text for the current page (defaults to the page name).
• root (optional): top of the trail (defaults to Chinese Food Map).

If the parent page also uses {{Breadcrumb|parent=...}}, its own parent is added automatically (up to five levels). So a dish page only needs to name its province hub:

• Sichuan Food: {{Breadcrumb|parent=Chinese Food Map}} → Chinese Food Map › Sichuan Food
• Sichuan Cuisine: {{Breadcrumb|parent=Sichuan Food}} → Chinese Food Map › Sichuan Food › Sichuan Cuisine

Place it at the very top of the article text, after the SEO block and before the infobox. Hook classes: cfwk-breadcrumb, cfwk-bc-sep, cfwk-bc-current.
