Goubuli Baozi

Goubuli Baozi (Simplified Chinese: 狗不理包子; Traditional Chinese: 狗不理包子; Pinyin: Gǒubulǐ bāozi) are Tianjin's best-known stuffed steamed buns, associated with the historic Goubuli ("Dog Won't Pay Attention") shop brand and treated as a civic snack emblem on Tianjin Food.

Characteristics

Pleated bao with juicy pork filling; wrappers are soft steamed wheat dough. Portion size and pleat count are points of shop pride.
