Introduce

Cat Ear (猫耳朵) are traditional pasta in Shanxi Province, Jinzhong and Jinbei. Commonly known as "碾疙瘩 clump", "碾饦饦 clump".

Cat ear have a long history and are similar to the "(houto馎饦)" mentioned in the "Qimin Yaoshu" of the Northern Wei Dynasty. They are shaped like cat ears, small and exquisite, and have smooth muscles. They are a popular pasta dish that has been passed down for a long time.

Develop

In June 2008, Shanxi cat ear production skills were awarded a national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council, which has become the common wealth of Sanjin culture and a pearl of Chinese food culture.

During the Warring States Period, it was divided into three kingdoms, namely Han, Zhao, and Wei, so it was called the Three Jins.
