Infobox food region is a compact summary box for place pages about food: provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, special administrative regions, cities, districts and counties (for example Sichuan Food or Chongqing Food).

For individual dishes, snacks, ingredients and drinks, use Template:Infobox chinese food instead.

Layout and mobile behaviour

• Always visible: the header (name, Chinese name, pinyin), a small image (at most 230×180 px), and the short rows level, parent, capital, cuisine and last_verified.
• The longer list fields (dishes, snacks, ingredients, drinks, alcohol, gi, heritage, subdivisions, related) form a lower block with the section headers Foods, Ingredients and drinks, Recognition and Places. A section header only appears when at least one of its fields is filled.
• On desktop and tablet screens (768 px and wider) the box floats on the right at about a third of the text column (roughly 250–370 px) and the lower block is shown in full.
• On phones (narrower than 768 px) the box is full width and not floated. The lower block is folded into a collapsed More section that readers can expand.
• This uses the Bootstrap utility classes that the Tweeki skin already loads (col-12 col-md-6 col-lg-5 col-xl-4, float-md-right, d-none d-md-table-row, d-md-none) and core mw-collapsible. No site CSS is required.
• CSS hook classes for later styling: cfwk-infobox-wrap, cfwk-infobox, cfwk-infobox-region, cfwk-ib-rows, cfwk-ib-header, cfwk-ib-image, cfwk-ib-caption, cfwk-ib-row, cfwk-ib-section, cfwk-ib-list, cfwk-ib-more, cfwk-ib-more-table, plus one cfwk-ib-parameter class per row (for example cfwk-ib-dishes).

Usage

Only name is expected. It defaults to the page name. Every other field is optional, and a row is hidden when it is empty. Values accept normal wikitext, including links and red links. For lists, separate items with commas or <br />.

Sourcing note for GI and heritage

Only list geographical indication products in gi if they appear in the official China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA, cnipa.gov.cn) GI records. Only list intangible cultural heritage items in heritage if they are in the national ICH lists (ihchina.cn). Each entry must be backed by a citation to that record in the article body. Do not add GI or ICH entries from memory, from shop listings or from marketing copy.
